We understand that unforeseen circumstances may require the cancellation of an event. Below is our cancellation policy for the Hasler Final 2024:

Event Cancellation by the Organisers

In the unlikely event that the Hasler Final 2024 is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather conditions, public health concerns, or other emergencies, we will implement the following refund policy:

• Refund Amount: Participants will be entitled to a refund of 80% of their entry fee.
• Administration Fee: The remaining 20% of the entry fee will be retained to cover administration and organisational costs incurred up to the point of cancellation. This includes essential expenses such as payments to the Port of London Authority (PLA) for river usage, costs associated with permits and insurance, and other non-recoverable fees that have already been committed to ensuring the event could take place.
• Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the event cancellation being announced.

Notification of Cancellation

• We will make every effort to notify participants of the event cancellation as early as possible. Information will be communicated via the official event website, email, and our social media channels.

No Further Liability

• Beyond the refund outlined above, the organisers will not be liable for any additional costs, expenses, or other financial losses incurred by participants as a result of the cancellation of the event.
