ACCESS TO SITE- Please note that major roadworks currently being undertaken on the B5130 for a 12 month period may affect how you access the site from Chester or from the southerly direction. We are unsure what road closures will be in place on 28 April so will update everyone on the "Chester Canoeing" facebook page and the "Sailing and Canoeing Chester" facebook page. Our website is currently out of action.

PARKING - Parking will be on the grass verge next to the Dinghy Park.

BOOKING IN will open from 9.30am in the Training room in the Dinghy Park.

RACING STARTS from 11.30am

RACE COURSE

Start – Upstream opposite Sandy Lane Car Park. NO PORTAGES FOR ALL CLASSES

Classes – Divisions 1-9 singles, 2-9 Doubles, Geoff Saunders A,B,C singles, and doubles.

Div 7,8,9 4 miles, 1 large lap turning just below the roadbridge and one short lap turning opposite Clubhouse finishing opposite OD Box, Sailing Club going upstream.

Div 4,5,6 8 miles, 2 large laps and 2 short laps as above

Div 1,2,3 12 miles – 3 large laps and 3 short laps as above.

Geoff Saunders Race – Start at OD Box Sailing Club downstream, 1 short lap. Finish at OD Box. Sailing Club going upstream.

Course Map will be available on the day.

Briefing will be held prior to race in Dinghy Park.

Risk Assessment will be displayed.
