Elmbridge Hasler Announcement
Elmbridge Hasler Postponed Due to River Conditions.
We have made the difficult decision of postponing our annual Elmbridge Hasler. The Environment Agency have upgraded our reach to red boards. When these red boards are displayed, the Environment Agency advises users of all boats not to navigate. The river is extremely high and is unsafe to hold a Hasler format race.
We hope you can understand our decision. We are currently looking at alternative dates. This will be published once an appropriate date has been agreed.
We will refund all entries shortly.

Important Notice
Elmbridge Hasler Announcement
The recent heavy rainfall has caused the Thames to experience a sudden rise in water levels and strong flows. The Environment Agency have currently put us on yellow boards, this means any river activity posses a greater risk.
River flows are likely to strengthen as we see more rain today and Friday, and strong stream boards could be upgraded to red boards very soon and without further warning.
As a club we will carefully monitor the current situation over the next few days and make a final announcement on whether our Hasler will go ahead as normal this year on Thursday 26th September at 6pm.
We may have to cancel, postpone or change the format of the race. Please check the online entry system for further announcements.

An out and back course on the River Thames. Two lock portages over rollers. The whole race can be followed along riverside footpaths and towpath.
