Briefing: Will be published online by Saturday 30th October and emailed to Team Leaders. Any last minute changes/ safety briefings will be communicated through Team Leaders on the day.
Entries:
Entries must be submitted on the online entry system. Any entry after 23.00 on Friday 29th October will incur a late entry fee.
Payment - Team payment via bank transfer prefered. If you are unable to pay in advance or would prefer to pay by cheque please let us know.

Refreshments:
There will be no refreshments or competitors food in line with our risk assessments. There is a small coffee kiosk in the park where refreshments can be purchased but competitors are advised to bring their own.
Facilities:
Truro Canoe Cub has no shower or toilet facilities. There are public toilets in the park - please see the map below for directions.
Parking in Boscawen Park is limited, please park considerately a map is attached showing additional parking locations.
Buoyancy Aids:
Buoyancy aids must be worn by all paddlers in divisions 7-9 and in GS U14 classes. All juniors must wear buoyancy aids with the exception of paddlers ranked in Division 6 and above where the paddler’s Team Leader has agreed that a buoyancy aid need not be worn. The race organisers may request that all or some may need to wear buoyancy aids or spray decks the race organisers’ decision is final.
The South West number boards will be used for this event, please be aware failing to return your number will incur a £5 charge.
Hasler Trophy:
Hasler points will be awarded in accordance with the BCU Rules. Note that club vests/colours must be worn to claim Hasler points.
Covid Assessment Summary:
Check for COVID-19 symptoms and health conditions - Before attending any sporting activities, all participants, officials, volunteers and spectators should self-assess for symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). We also request that all individual’s over 11 have a negative lateral flow result in the 24 hours prior to the event to safeguard vulnerable individuals who might with to attend. If you, or anyone you live with, have one or more of these symptoms you should not attend any sporting activity, even if your symptoms are mild.
There are no facilities or inside areas at the venue. Therefore, the risk of outdoor transmission is low. All participants are asked to pay in advance via bank transfer.
If individuals would like to wear face masks they can do so but it is up to the individual. Club officials, including time keeping volunteers are advised to stand 1m apart to further reduce any risk of transmission. Paddlers are advised to bring handgel and if first aid is required ask a member of their household in the first instance. First aiders are available for emergencies.
