- 11:30am Senior Men K2 6 Long Laps, 5 Portages.
- 11:32am Junior Boys K2 4 Long Laps, 3 Portages.
- 11:34 K2 Wowen + C2 Men 5 Long Laps, 4 Portages.
- 11:36 K2 Junior Women + C2 Junior Boys. 3 Long Laps, 2 Portages.
Course Description
- Start at the white house, paddle upstream around the back of the small island and turn anti-clockwise around the island.
- Continue downstream (club side of the small island) and pass the portage outside the club (DO NOT PORTAGE THIS LAP).
- Continue down the cut (1000m) and turn anti-clockwise below Desborough Island.
- Continue upstream around the back of Desborough Island.
- Repeat as appropriate to your race.
- The portage is outside the club, use the first floating pontoon to exit and the second floating pontoon to re-enter your boat.
- Please note there is a gap between both floating pontoons and the banks edge. Please take care.
- On the final lap, you turn in the same place as normal but you finsih at the top cut bridge below the club. This is approx. 500m from the top turn.

Note to competitors.
This race will be run in accordance with the assessment rules in the Canoe Racing Handbook and all athletes are expected to follow the MRC and British Canoeing Rules for competition. If you are not aware of these reules, plese make yourself aware.
Wash Hanging
The course is laps so all competitors will be on the same course at the same time. There is no wash hanging on other classes that have different start times to you. I.e. if you are caught up by the race behind you cannot sit on the passing boats wash. Similarily if you catch the race in front you cannot wash hand off any of those paddlers. The MRC will impose time penalities on paddlers observed doing so.
Portages
Whilst every attempt will be made to make the portage as safe as possible, please remain calm and do not rush them. There is a substanial drop down to the portage so all paddlers should take extra care. It is also strongly adivsed that all competitiors wear something on their feet for protection.
Parking
Parking is free. Please use the green area opposite the club. Please listen carefully to our parking Marshall's and park where they tell you to park. Please do not drive down to the club carpark.
The Galley
The clubs galley and coffee van will be open all day and will be serving hot food, drinks and cakes.
