Classes: Singles – Divisions 1-9.
Doubles – Divisions 2-9.

Course: All races start and finish on the Brayford Pool, the course includes the Fosse Dyke Navigation & Upper Witham.
Divisions 1,2 and 3 Singles. Division 2 and 3 Doubles. 12 Miles – 3 Turns
Divisions 4,5 and 6 Singles. Division 4,5 and 6 Doubles. 8 Miles – 3 Turns
Divisions 7,8 & 9 Singles. Division 7,8 and 9 Doubles. 4 Miles – 1 Turn
Geoff Sanders Trophy. 3 1/2 Brayford Laps (2500m)
Note: There are no portages or weirs on any of these courses.
Normal navigation rules apply (river right).
Be aware of and courteous to other river users.
Timetable: Check-in from 09:00am – 10:30 am.
Briefings GST 09:30 am.
Divisions 1-9 10:30 am.
Races Start GST 09:45 am.
Divisions 1-9 11:15 am.
Presentations & Prizegiving after all races are complete.
Entry Fees: Divisions 1-9 Seniors - £12.

BC: Current BC Membership or Associate Membership are required for all entries.
Entries in divisions 7-9 who cannot prove BC membership may purchase an event ticket (£5) for insurance purposes.
Divisions 1-6 are not permitted to race without proof of BC membership.

All competitors ranked in divisions 7-9 and GST must wear approved buoyancy aids. (Race organisers reserve the right to insist on all competitors wearing BAs if conditions dictate).
All boats must have adequate buoyancy
Number boards must be vertical, white in colour and numbers must be in a digital format marked with tape. (Only the number issued at check in must be used).
Club colours/race vests must be worn to qualify for club points.
Refreshments: Light refreshments will be available to all competitors.
Other food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Canoe Club throughout the day. (There will be a 25p discount if you bring your own mug)
Results: Results will be posted on the Lincoln Canoe Club website (lincolncanoeclub.com ) shortly after the race. They will also be available at Race Entries - Race Results (gbcanoemarathon.co.uk) once they have been verified.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to 1st,2nd and 3rd placed competitors in all classes (K1,C1 & K2).

Individual entries should provide name, division, BC number and class (junior, senior, veteran).

How your information will be used:
We will use your personal data for administering your event entry. This includes, but is not limited to, sending you start lists, receipts, running orders, and directions. Event relevant information may also be published on a website or other media. By entering Lincoln Hasler 2023 you agree that we may also publish your personal information as part of the results and rankings of the event, and may pass such information to British Canoeing, the relevant discipline committee, or event organiser. This could be for the purpose of insurance, licences or for publishing results or rankings. This may be for the event you are entering or be combined with, or compared to, other events. Results and rankings data includes, among other details name, any club affiliation, points, & age category. The details of your entry may also be passed to a team leader, club representative etc who may enter the event on your behalf using the information provided. If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data please contact the race organizer.
Photographs: During the event we may be taking photos and video. These may be used on our website, social media, British Canoeing website etc. They may also be used to promote future events. If you do not wish for images of you or your child to be published in this way, please let us know us before the race.
Cancellation: The club reserves the right, without prior notice, to alter any of these arrangements should the weather or any other circumstances warrant it.
In the unfortunate occurrence that the event is cancelled, an announcement will be made on LCC website and other social media.
Lincoln Canoe Club cannot be held responsible for any damage/loss.
Please clean your boats before removing to new waters to assist with the control of the spread of invasive species.
