Geoff Sanders race starts at 10.00 (briefing at 09:30)
Hasler Divisional racing starts at 11:00 (briefing at 10:15)
Start order to be confirmed at the briefing.
Rules
The race will be in accordance with current BC Marathon Racing Rules.
Number boards: These will be issued at check-in to club team leaders only and must be returned after the race.
Lost number boards are charged at £5.00.
Environment Agency: Instructions given by Environment Agency Officers must be followed.
Race Briefing: Attendance at the briefing is essential.
Safety
All Division 7, 8, 9 paddlers and Geoff Sanders paddlers MUST wear a BCU approved buoyancy aid.
All Junior paddlers in Divisions 1 to 6 must wear buoyancy aids unless a Royal disclaimer, giving permission not to do so, is submitted to the race organisers before the start. Please can parents/guardians of all Junior Paddlers in Divisions 1-6 complete the google form here when submitting race entry:

The race organisers may require that all or some or all paddlers in addition to the above must wear buoyancy aids, based on conditions on the day. In this regard, the race organisers’ decision is final.
Entry Fees
Hasler: Seniors: £12 per seat; Juniors: £10 per seat.
Geoff Sanders: £5 per seat.
Late entries £5.00 extra per seat.
Enter and pay using the marathon race entry system only - Race Entries (gbcanoemarathon.co.uk).
NO entries on the day.
Food
Light Refreshments will be provided for competitors.
Food for purchase will also be available throughout the day.
Prizes
There will be Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class providing there are sufficient entries: The prize giving will take place as soon as practical after racing finishes.
Parking
Please follow any direction signs placed in Trowlock Way. There will also be car park marshals on duty. Parking is limited.
