Geoff Sanders race starts at 10.30 am (briefing at 10:15 am)
Hasler Divisional racing starts at 11:00 am (briefing at 10:30 am)
Start order to be confirmed at the briefing.
Rules:
The race will be in accordance with current BC Marathon Racing Rules.
Number boards:
These will be issued at check-in to club team leaders only and must be returned after the race.
Lost number boards are charged at £5.
Environment Agency:
Instructions given by Environment Agency Officers must be followed.
Race Briefing:
Attendance at the briefing is essential.
Safety:
All Division 7, 8, 9 paddlers and Lightning paddlers MUST wear a BCU approved buoyancy aid (BA) it's compulsory under BC marathon Rule 5 (biii)
All junior paddlers in 6-1 divisions MUST wear buoyancy aids (BA) unless a Royal Canoe Club disclaimer, giving permission not to do so, is submitted to the race organisers (raceenteries@royalcanoeclub.com) by noon on Friday 10th June 2022.

The organisers of the event have the final decision on the day as to who should wear BA.
Entry Fees:
Hasler: Seniors: £12 per seat; Juniors: £10 per seat. Late entries £2.00 extra per seat.
Geoff Sanders: £5 per seat – late entries at £1.00 extra per seat.

Food:
Light refreshments will be provided for competitors.
Food for purchase will also be available throughout the day.
Prizes:
There will be Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class providing there are sufficient entries: The prize giving will take place as soon as practical after racing finishes.
Parking:
Please follow any direction signs placed in Trowlock Way. There will also be car park marshalls on duty. Parking is limited.
